Operators of commercial tricycle, popularly called Keke Napep, in Kano State have called off the strike action which they had embarked upon on Monday.

A lawyer to the tricycle operators, Barr. Abba Hikima, confirmed suspension of the strike in the State to newsmen yesterday.
Recall that the tricycle operators on Monday embarked on a 7-day warning strike to protest the annual N8,500 registration number renewal fees and payment of N100 daily imposed by Kano Road Traffic Agency, (KAROTA).
The operators also complained that every Monday, they are compelled to pay the N100 levy for Sunday, when the revenue collectors are not working.
However, the decision to suspend the strike was reached at a marathon meeting yesterday, between the Managing-Director of KAROTA, Baffa Dan-Agundi and lawyers of the tricyclists, under the Chairmanship of Aminu Gadanya, Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA).
